Send a kid into summer ready for it.
Summer costs money nobody budgets for. A bathing suit. Sunscreen. Sandals that survive three months. Without them a kid sits on the side of the pool, and everybody notices.

Plus the smaller things that make a summer — a water bottle, a pair of sunglasses, whatever that child tells us they need.
HOW IT WORKS
When school's out, resources run out.
We built Summer Angels in 2026 after hearing the same thing from caseworkers every June. Families who make it through the winter with help still hit a wall in the summer, when school meals stop and the days get long and expensive.
Thirty-two children went into that first summer with a kit. We would like that number to look small by next year.
