WHY IT MATTERS
More than 10,000 kids in our county are growing up in poverty.
In one of the wealthiest counties in America, need hides in plain sight. Rent has risen faster here than anywhere else in Maryland. When rent takes the whole paycheck, the basics are what get cut. Shoes that fit. A coat in December, a swimsuit in July. Your gift is what closes that gap for a child in Anne Arundel County.

Every dollar is spent at the register. A coat in the right size, shoes for the first day of school, underwear, socks and gloves, a toothbrush and toothpaste, a school uniform, camp tuition, the one toy a child asked for by name. We have no office and no paid staff, so what you give goes into the bag.
